I am thrilled to have Nationally Acclaimed Bellydance Phoenix at Amused Woman Studios offering an all-levels workshop designed to get us in touch with and awaken how the elements move through our bodies.
Intensify your presence and balance by awakening the energy of earth, water, fire and air. Link the elemental energy to your movement. A workshop focusing on the individual participants needs for balancing the mind and body. In this workshop, Phoenix guides the students through a series of visualizations and movement exercises. Focusing on the quality of the elements, attendees will find areas of power and weakness within. Working with each finding allows the individual to find areas which may impact their presence and self confidence.
No dance experience is required yet dancers may find ways to apply these concepts to their presentation on the stage. Phoenix will introduce moves for all to use as they feel it fits. The work will be in movement and creating combinations that allow each participant to express the element in their own light.
Participants are asked to bring water, a snack and wear comfortable clothing that they can move/dance. If you have a quiet dance belt, feel free to bring it but please no coins or jingles.
